About this car

Six-Decades-Family-Owned 1958 Fiat Nuova 500 America offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.

Work involved a repaint and an interior re-trim as well as installation of a Fiat 126 652cc inline-twin and synchronized four-speed manual gearbox sourced from a relative outside of Budapest, Hungary.

The US-market 500 America featured “frog eye” sealed-beam headlamps to comply with US regulations as well as relocated front turn signals, unique Lucas tail lamps, and larger steel bumpers with overriders.

This example was repainted red and fitted with a replacement half-length folding black fabric sunroof in the course of the aforementioned early 2000s refurbishment project. It is further equipped with a driver-side mirror, a vented engine cover, and rear-hinged doors.

The ivory-finished 12″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with 125-width Pirelli Cinturato tires.
