31-Years-Owned 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
The build involved rebuilds of the 2.0L twin-cam inline-four, five-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip differential in addition to a repaint in Rosso Amaranto, an interior refresh in tan vinyl, and other updates as detailed below. The car rides on 14″ Alfaholics wheels and has Koni shocks, Eibach springs, and disc brakes at all four corners. The engine breathes through retrofitted dual Weber carburetors and is also said to have a ported cylinder head, reground camshafts, and Motronic pistons.
The Bertone-designed body underwent rust repairs to the floors, rockers, and other affected areas prior to a repaint in Rosso Amaranto as part of the aforementioned multi-year build. Further exterior details include quad headlamps, dual side mirrors, and biscione C-pillar badging. The removed bumpers are included in the sale.
The silver-finished 14×6″ GTA-style wheels from Alfaholics are mounted with 195/60 Hankook tires. The suspension retains the factory double wishbone front and live rear axle configuration and was upgraded with Koni adjustable shocks and Eibach performance springs as part of the build. Brake work is noted to have involved rebuilding ATE brake calipers as well as adding a Centerline brake booster and replacing the rotors, pads, and lines. Further updates reportedly included rebuilding the steering box as well as replacing the spring pans, connecting links, and various suspension bushings.
Further details include a heater and retractable front seatbelts as well as manual crank windows and pop-out pivoting rear side glass.
