1961 Alfaromeo · United States · Lender-owned, lien released
1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta TI offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
This 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta TI was specified from the factory in Blu Elvezia and built in October 1960 before being delivered to Lauria, Italy, in January 1961. The car is believed to have spent time in storage at an Alfa Romeo dealer in Sala Consilina before being brought to the US circa 2015. Finished in blue over gray cloth upholstery, the sedan is powered by a 1,290cc twin-cam inline-four fitted with a single Solex carburetor and mated to a column-shifted four-speed manual transmission. It rides on 15″ Fergat-style steel wheels coupled with finned drum brakes at all four corners and is further equipped with bench seating, a heater, and Jaeger instrumentation.
Introduced in the summer of 1957, the TI (Turismo Internazionale) was marketed as a high-performance version of the Giulietta berlina featuring a more powerful engine as well as various exterior and interior enhancements. The Bertone-styled bodywork of this example left the factory finished in Blu Elvezia (315) and was repainted at some point under previous ownership. Further details include recessed headlights, dual side mirrors, and bumpers with overriders.
The 15″ Fergat-style steel wheels feature Alfa Romeo–branded hubcaps and are mounted with 175-width tires. Stopping power is provided by finned drums at each corner.
The cabin houses two rows of bench seating trimmed in gray patterned cloth and contrasting vinyl, which extends to the door panels. The dash wears a Giulietta TI plaque, and further details include an ivory headliner, gray carpets, and rubberized floor mats along with a heater, lockable glovebox, and hand-crank windows.
