It was subsequently modified at their shop—Scan Automotive of North Vancouver, British Columbia—as part of a multi-year recommissioning. Work involved rebuilds of the twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six and six-speed manual transaxle as well as a rear-wheel-drive conversion and additional cosmetic and mechanical updates detailed below. Refinished in Irish Green, the car wears 18″ 996 GT3 alloy wheels and is fitted with an Öhlins Road & Track coilover kit as well as 996 GT2/GT3 front brake calipers and uprights. Inside, Euro 996 GT3 Recaro seats trimmed in black leather with Pepita wool inserts are accompanied by an Autopower roll bar and a 997 shifter. The engine is equipped with 997 GT2 intercoolers and a Europipe exhaust system, while the transaxle is paired with a limited-slip differential from Guard Transmission.

The 996 Turbo featured revised bumper covers, wider rear bodywork, and rear air intakes in comparison to the contemporary Carrera. Finished from the factory in Guards Red, this example was partially disassembled prior to a repaint in Irish Green as part of the aforementioned build. Clear corner markers are fitted up front, and the rear decklid badging has been removed. Xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, and a speed-activated rear spoiler are further details. The photographs were taken in December 2025, although just ~85 miles have since been accrued.

The silver-finished 18″ 996 GT3 alloy wheels wear Turbo-branded center caps. They are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires measuring 225/40 up front and 295/30 out back.

The Euro 996 GT3 Recaro seats are trimmed in black leather with Pepita wool inserts and sit ahead of an Autopower roll bar. The seatbacks and roll bar have been painted to match the exterior. Retained factory equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, and a CDR-220 stereo.
