This 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is said to have been purchased from the original owner by marque expert and co-founder of Jafco Turbo Gary Fortner in the early 1980s. The car is noted to have undergone rebuilds of the 2.0L twin-cam inline-four, SPICA fuel-injection pump, and five-speed manual transmission as well as further mechanical work as part of a refurbishment completed while in his care in the early 2010s. It was acquired from Mr. Finished in red over black upholstery, the car rides on 14″ Cromodora Daytona–style alloy wheels paired with Bilstein shocks at all four corners and has a wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel as well as flying buttress front seats. The overbored engine is fitted with CP-Carrillo forged pistons as well as a modified cylinder head with RJ Racing camshafts, while a 4.10:1 rear end with a limited-slip differential is equipped out back. Recommissioning work by Besic Motorsports of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, in preparation for the sale involved replacing the water pump, lower ball joints, and front brake calipers.

The Bertone-style bodywork is finished in red and wears biscione badging at the base of the C-pillars. Carello headlights and fog lamps are fitted up front, and further details include bullet-style side mirrors as well as wrap-around bumpers with guards. Photos of paint meter readings can be viewed in the gallery.

The 14″ Cromodora Daytona–style alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato P1 tires. Bilstein shocks are fitted at all four corners, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs. The steering gearbox and brake master cylinder are noted to have been rebuilt under previous ownership, while work in preparation for the sale involved changing the lower ball joints as well as the front brake calipers. A spare steel wheel with an older Yokohama tire is stored in the trunk. Photos of the car wearing a set of included 14″ Alfaholics GTA-style wheels mounted with Avon tires can be viewed in the gallery.

The cabin features flying buttress front bucket seats upholstered in black leather accompanied by a color-coordinated rear bench. Wood-veneer trim accents the dash as well as the center console, and further interior details include an AM radio, a heater, and Coco-style mats. Inertia-style front seatbelts were installed under previous ownership along with replacement trunk lid and door seals. The headlight switch was replaced in preparation for the sale.
