390-Powered 1970 AMC Javelin SST offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
A subsequent six-year refurbishment was completed in 2021 with work that involved repainting the body in Glen Green Metallic, refreshing the black vinyl interior, installing a rebuilt 390ci V8, and overhauling the fuel, electrical, cooling, braking, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems. The Shift-Command three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt under prior ownership. Equipment includes a scooped hood, a rear spoiler, Magnum 500–style 14″ wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a fold-down center armrest, woodgrain interior trim, and a push-button AM radio as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, and an aftermarket camshaft.
Finished from the factory in Glen Green Metallic (87A), the car was media-blasted and its rear arches and lower quarter panels were replaced before the body was primed and repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. The chrome bumpers were replaced during the work, as were the emblems and the weatherstripping.
The hood has dual scoops, and other exterior details include an air dam, SST and 360 badging, a fender-mounted antenna, a driver-side mirror, simulated-side-pipe rocker-panel trim, and dual exhaust outlets. The passenger-side fender exhibits a ding and a blemish, a window is scratched, and the windshield wipers are not hooked up.
A decal of Mark Donohue’s signature is affixed to the trunk-lid spoiler.
