1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Double Cab Transporter offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
This 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 is a US-market Double Cab Transporter that was refurbished in 2017 with a repaint, an interior overhaul, a suspension refresh, and rebuilds of the motor and gearbox. It is finished in red with a dark brown cab over brown vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a 1.6-liter flat-four linked to a Freeway Flyer four-speed manual transaxle. Features include folding bed sides, pressed bumpers, 15″ steel wheels, and a front disc brake conversion.
The repaint was carried out in Sealing Wax Red and Chestnut Brown, and the refurbishment included replacing the windshield and rechroming the trim. Exterior details include three doors, front Safari windows, and dual side mirrors.
The 15″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are wrapped in Yokohama Avid Ascent GT tires. A front disc brake conversion was performed under previous ownership, and the suspension is said to have been refreshed during the refurbishment. The vehicle is equipped with a rear swing axle setup.
Chocolate Brown vinyl upholstery was fitted over the bench seats during the refurbishment, and the interior is appointed with a color-coordinated headliner, door panels, and sun visors. Additional cabin features include front vent windows, sliding side windows, and Wolfsburg-stamped lap belts. The radio does not work, and the vehicle does not have speakers.
