Work included the installation of a 1,776cc flat-four sourced from Fat Performance of Orange, California, along with a repaint in orange, re-trimming the interior with black leatherette upholstery, and installing an Empi rear muffler, a retro-style stereo head unit, and aftermarket speakers. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transaxle, quarter vent windows, hinged rear windows, black-finished bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels.

Replacement front and rear shock absorbers have been installed, and stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.
