11k-Mile 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
This 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS is one of approximately 2,900 E-series examples produced through July 1974 and was completed in January 1973 before being delivered new to Carl A. Haas Automobile Imports of Highland Park, Illinois. Over $73k of work was subsequently performed by Ferrari of Naples, Florida, including Classiche certification, a rebuild of the carburetors and air conditioning compressor, a reseal of the top-end of the engine and transfer gear case, and replacement of the spark plugs, tires, battery, headlights, and removable roof seals. Finished in Argento Auteuil Metallizzato over Beige leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 2.4L V6 equipped with triple Weber carburetors that is mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 14×7.5″ Campagnolo-look alloy wheels with Koni shocks and ventilated disc brakes at all four corners, and further details include a removable roof panel, a retrofitted Becker Mexico stereo, a MOMO steering wheel, and a gated shifter.
The prototype 206 GT first appeared at the 1965 Paris Auto Salon with bodywork designed by Aldo Brovarone and Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina and was followed by revised concepts at the 1966 and 1967 Turin Motor Shows. The 2.0L-powered 206 entered production in early 1968 before being superseded by the 2.4L-powered 246, which was offered in GT coupe and GTS targa-top variants beginning in 1969 and 1971, respectively.
The Scaglietti-built bodywork on this example is finished in Argento Auteuil Metallizzato and incorporates US-market lighting consisting of recessed rectangular front turn signals, side markers, and rear reflectors inboard of the taillights. Additional exterior features include a removable roof panel, a power antenna, a driver-side mirror, chrome bumperettes, and quad ANSA exhaust finishers. The headlights and removable roof panel seals were replaced in 2026.
The 14×7.5″ wheels were styled after the Campagnolos fitted on “chairs and flares” models, and they were mounted with 205/70 Michelin XWX tires in 2026. The suspension incorporates unequal-length A-arms, coilover Koni shock absorbers, and anti-roll bars at front and rear, while stopping power is provided by power-assisted ventilated disc brakes all around. The front brake calipers were rebuilt, the front pads were replaced, and the fluid was flushed during the 2026 service.
