S52-Powered 1988 BMW M3 offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
The car was repainted in Merlot Red more than a decade ago and features an electric sunroof, carbon-fiber EVO-style rear spoiler, and Euro-style smiley headlights and driving lights. The finish has nicks, chips, and scratches, with areas of clear-coat or paint failure at the right-front fender, engine-bay strut mount, and the gap between the fender and bumper. The fog lights have been removed.
Ground Control coilovers, hybrid camber plates, Ground Control sway-bar brackets, and Ireland Engineering front and rear sway bars are fitted, while Treehouse-style front control arm bushings are also installed. Chassis reinforcement includes Mason Engineering front strut, subframe, and rear shock-tower braces, rear shock-mount reinforcement, and a differential mount brace. An E46 steering rack was also reportedly installed along with a power steering block-off plate.
Alpina-style 17″ Maxilite wheels are mounted with Falken Azenis RT615K tires. Braking has been upgraded with Wilwood six-piston front calipers over 332x32mm floating rotors and four-piston rear calipers over 310x32mm floating rotors. Stainless-steel brake lines and a Wilwood big-brake kit are also fitted.
The cabin features Recaro front seats and reupholstered rear seats trimmed in black leather with microsuede inserts and red contrast stitching. Equipment includes an onboard computer, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. A radio blanking plate has been fitted and the air conditioning components have been removed.
