This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was purchased by the owner in 2010, and the subsequent build completed in 2012 involved the installation of a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine as well as a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a fabricated 9″ rear end with a 3.70:1 differential. The body was repainted in black with a white nose stripe and features a cowl hood, front and rear spoilers, and an RS-style grille with hideaway headlamps. Inside, TMI front bucket seats and a rear bench are trimmed in black and accompanied by a center console and an Alpine stereo linked to an amplifier and aftermarket speakers. Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, a dual exhaust system with Dynatech headers and MagnaFlow mufflers, power steering, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable CalTracs traction bars, and 17″ Rally-style wheels.
Equipment includes a cowl hood, front and rear spoilers, chrome rocker and wheel-arch moldings, and an RS-style grille with hideaway headlamps.
The 17″ Rally-style American Racing alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/45 front and 275/40 rear Nitto Motivo tires. Adjustable CalTracs traction bars have been added at the rear, and the car is equipped with power steering and front and rear anti-sway bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs.
The cabin was re-trimmed in 2012 and houses TMI front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black. Appointments include front shoulder belts, a center console, and an Alpine CD stereo unit linked to a trunk-mounted JL Audio amplifier and package-shelf speakers.
