Fuel-Injected 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe 4-Speed offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
It is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Daytona Blue over dark blue vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with three-eared knock-off spinner-style hubcaps, an AM/FM radio, and concealed headlights.
The fiberglass body was originall finished in Daytona Blue, and it was repainted during the refurbishment, which also included repairing the bodywork, chrome-plating and replacing the trim, and replacing the rocker moldings. The car features flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.
Silver-finished 15” steel wheels feature three-eared knock-off spinner-style hubcaps and are mounted with Michelin whitewall tires measuring 205/75. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. Work in 2007 included replacing the idler arm and brake hoses as well as rebuilding the control arms, tie-rod sleeves and ends, brake backing plates, and shocks.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in dark blue vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets, with the headliner, door panels, trim, and seats being replaced during the refurbishment. Additional work at that time included repairing the heater box, speakers, floor pans, and defroster. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
