He purchased a crate Vortec and a 4L85E automatic transmission, and over the next three years installed them, completing the work in 2024. The engine has Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers, and additional revisions include a 3.73:1 Positraction rear end, Bilstein shocks, CCP tubular front-upper control arms, 16″ VTO wheels, LED exterior lighting, and AEM supplementary gauges.
The body is finished in white with gray-finished bumpers, and exterior details include a Curt receiver hitch, Hella LED headlights, front-side window rain guards, pop-out side and rear windows, window tint, ambulance-style rear doors, and LED taillights, side marker lights, and turn signal indicators. The roof has been repainted along with the lower sides, which have a Rockershutz coating, the sliding right-side door has been replaced, as has the left-rear door, the paint is peeling, and a spot of corrosion is noted on the bottom of the side door.
The van rides on Bilstein shocks and 16″ VTO multi-spoke wheels, the latter of which are mounted with Cooper tires that show date codes from 2020. The suspension also uses CPP tubular front-upper control arms.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in blue patterned cloth with vinyl sides, while GMC-branded mats line the front footwells. The rear cargo area is outfitted with wooden roof and side panels. Other interior details include USB charging ports, and manual crank windows.
