This Shelby Cobra is a CSX4000 continuation model that is powered by a 468ci aluminum V8 paired with a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission. The engine features a Shelby FE block with forged pistons and Stage II cylinder heads as well as a custom-ground Elgin camshaft, and the independent rear suspension has been modified. The roadster’s fiberglass body is finished in metallic blue with white stripes, and features include black leather upholstery, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Halibrand-style 17″ wheels, staggered-width Nitto tires, disc brakes, adjustable coilovers, side-exit exhaust pipes, a roll hoop, and a tonneau cover. Work performed under current ownership has involved installing PerTronix ignition and replacing the master cylinder reservoirs, spark plugs, batteries, and tires.

The fiberglass bodywork is finished in metallic blue with white racing stripes and features a hood scoop, wind wings, a roll hoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, a LeMans-style fuel-filler cap, quick-jack bumperettes, and a tonneau cover.

Halibrand-style 17″ knock-off wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 G2 tires that measure 245/45 in front and 315/35 at the rear; the tires were replaced in October 2025. Disc brakes and adjustable coilovers are positioned at all four corners of the vehicle. The independent rear suspension was updated in 2008 with fabricated lock nuts and rear upper-rod end spacers. The triple master-cylinder reservoirs were replaced in 2021.

The cockpit features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black leather. Interior appointments include latch-and-link lap belts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a cabin heater, and tinted sun visors.
