This 1955 Ford Thunderbird was refurbished in the early 1980s and was featured on the cover of the May/June 1988 issue of Early Birds magazine. The car is finished in Raven Black over black and white upholstery and is powered by a 292ci V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes a Holley four-barrel “teapot” carburetor, 15″ steel wheels, full wheel covers, a black hardtop, a replacement soft top, power steering, a power-operated bench seat, and a heater.

The car is finished in Raven Black and is equipped with a replacement black soft top, a black removable hardtop, “checkered flags” emblems, chrome bumpers, solid front fenders, rear fender skirts, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumperettes.

The 15″ steel wheels wear full covers and are mounted with Firestone whitewall tires. The car has power steering.

The power-operated bench seat has been reupholstered in black and white vinyl, and amenities include a heater, a floor-mounted shifter, and wind-up windows. The clock and push-button AM radio do not work.
