The bike is finished in Light White and is powered by a liquid-cooled 1,254cc opposed-twin linked with a six-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft. The bodywork is finished in Light White and is mounted over a tubular-steel trellis frame and a reinforced rear subframe in rectangular-section steel. The 19″ front and 17″ rear wire-spoke wheels wear 120/70 front and 170/60 rear Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires, the latter of which was mounted in preparation for the sale. Suspension consists of a Telelever front end as well as a Paralever single-sided swingarm with a monoshock. Anti-lock braking is provided by dual front discs and a single rear disc, all with Brembo calipers.

The black-finished handlebar carries hand guards and heated hand grips and is mounted aft of instrumentation consisting of a 6.5″ TFT LCD color display with a speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary-instrument functionality as well as Bluetooth media and telephone connectivity. On-screen functions are managed through a multi-controller located inboard on the left-hand grip. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles. A BMW Motorrad Navigator GPS unit accompanies the bike, and additional features include keyless ride, selectable ride modes, cruise control, switchable ABS, traction control, and automatic stability control.

The liquid-cooled 1,254cc opposed-twin was factory rated at 136 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. Features include electronic throttle control, four valves per cylinder, ShiftCam variable valve timing, a 510-watt charging system, and electronic fuel injection.
