This 2019 Land Rover Discovery HSE is #3 of 55 TRĕK Edition examples produced as part of an off-road driving skills competition for the company’s North American retailers. Each one was finished in Fuji White with TRĕK Edition graphics and fitted with approximately $10k worth of equipment from Lucky8 Off Road, including a bull bar, a skid plate, a Warn winch, a platform-style roof rack with off-road equipment, a cargo partition, Baja Designs LED lighting, tubular rock sliders, and skid plates. The truck has remained registered in Delaware from new and now has 68k miles. Power is provided by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and a locking rear differential.

Previously held between 1996 and 2003, Land Rover TRĕK returned in November 2019 after a 16-year hiatus to celebrate the return of the Defender to the Land Rover lineup. Regional trials were hosted at the Land Rover Experience Center in Asheville, North Carolina, and this example is finished in Fuji White with black, gray, and orange TRĕK Edition graphics. Exterior equipment includes a bull bar, a Warn winch, skid plates, tubular rock sliders, and a platform-style roof rack carrying auxiliary lights, a spare wheel and tire, traction boards, a Hi-Lift jack, and a shovel.

Black-finished 20″ wheels are mounted with 275/55 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires. The vehicle is equipped with replacement height sensors from Lucky8 Off Road that trick the air suspension into thinking the air supply is low, therefore maintaining air pressure in the airbags for a constant 2″ lift. The truck is also equipped with Terrain Response, Hill Descent Control, Roll Stability Control, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The 12-way power-adjustable front seats, split-folding second-row bench, and folding third-row seats are upholstered in Ebony leather. Amenities include heated front seats, multi-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, navigation, a Meridian sound system, and a surround-view camera system.
