This 1996 Toyota Classic is one of 100 examples produced by Toyota as a tribute to their first passenger vehicle, the 1936 AA. The streamlined body rides on a frame sourced from the contemporary Toyota Hilux along with the drivetrain and suspension. The car is finished in two-tone black and burgundy over red leather and is powered by a 2.0L inline-four paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15” wheels, running boards, air conditioning, an aftermarket stereo, and a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel.

All Toyota Classic models were finished in two-tone black and burgundy with white pinstripes. The tall profile design utilizes doors from the Hilux, and additional exterior features include chrome bumpers with overriders, pod-style headlights and taillights, running boards, and a faux spare tire cover on the trunk lid.

Basketweave 15” alloy wheels are mounted with 235/60 Nankang Cross Sport SP-9 tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drums out back.

The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in red leather with matching door panels and carpets. Wood trim accents the dash and doors, while additional amenities include air conditioning, an Eclipse stereo with Bluetooth and USB inputs, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
