Subsequent work consisted of rebuilding the ECU, overhauling the brakes, servicing the air conditioning, and replacing the fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, heater core, power steering pump, steering shaft assembly, shocks, struts, springs, ignition components, and various sensors. Power is provided by a 302ci Windsor V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission, a McLeod Super Street Pro clutch, and a limited-slip differential and the car is finished in Wild Strawberry with Titanium Lower bodyside accents over Titanium leather upholstery. Modifications include a Ford Racing B303 camshaft, a Cold Case aluminum radiator, an SVE 130-amp alternator, a Flowmaster exhaust system, and a BBK cold air intake and long-tube exhaust headers.
The car left the factory finished in Emerald Green and was repainted in Wild Strawberry with Titanium Lower bodyside accents under prior ownership. Exterior details include fog lights, GT-specific bodywork, power-adjustable side mirrors, a fixed antenna, and a rear hatch spoiler.
The 16″ Pony alloy wheels are mounted with 225/55 Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 tires, that were installed under current ownership. Standard equipment included a Handling Suspension Package featuring variable-rate springs and a Quadra-Shock rear setup along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features articulated front seats and a rear bench upholstered in Titanium leather. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM stereo, and power windows and locks. Work under current ownership is said to consist of converting the air conditioning to utilize r134a refrigerant, installing a Kenwood CD/USB stereo and aftermarket speakers, and replacing the heater core, air conditioning condenser, evaporator core, blower motor, door lock actuators, and window regulators. There is a tear in the headliner fabric, the seat covers exhibit cracking leather, the seatbelt covers are cracked, and the cruise control does not work.
