About this car

1990 Ford C8000 & 1996 Damon Hornet Travel Trailer offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.

Previously outfitted as a fire truck, the C8000 was modified with a custom bed and a gooseneck hitch, and power comes from a 10.4-liter Caterpillar turbodiesel V8 linked to an Allison four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a roof-mounted air conditioner, trumpet-style air horns, and rearward-facing seats behind the cab. The travel trailer is configured with a sleeping berth, kitchenette, dinette, and bathroom, and the living quarters were refreshed with woodgrain flooring and venetian blinds. Other highlights include a retractable awning, leveling jacks, tandem axles, and 16” wheels.

The exteriors of the truck and trailer were refinished in green and white under current ownership.

A roof-mounted air conditioner was added to the cab, and details include a split windshield, trumpet-style air horns, clearance lights, spotlights, grab handles, diamond-plate side steps and storage lockers, and polished rear fenders.

A custom enclosure was fabricated to replace the removed utility body, and a gooseneck hitch with a 2 5/16″ ball was installed. Polished 22.5” wheels are wrapped in mixed Goodyear tires that were mounted in 2025. Stopping power is handled by air brakes.
