1973 Porsche 911E Coupe 5-Speed for Auction

This 1973 Porsche 911E coupe is a US-market example with a rich history of refurbishment and maintenance. The car was previously owned in California and was acquired in 2019 in Canada. A comprehensive refurbishment was undertaken in 2020, including a repaint in the factory shade of Beige Grey and a refresh of the interior.

The 2.4-liter flat-six engine was rebuilt by Premium Service Auto in Quebec in September 2023 and was resealed and refreshed by Mobile Works West of Grass Valley, California in 2025. The transaxle was also rebuilt during this time. Additional work in 2025 included rebuilding the MFI pump and distributor, installing SSI heat exchangers, and replacing the fuel pump, alternator, starter, oil pump, and shifter bushings.

The car features a 911S-style front spoiler, H4 headlights, 15" Fuchs alloy wheels, and Recaro sport seats. Amenities include a push-button Blaupunkt radio, a locking glovebox, and a heater. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation, including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure.
