This 1972 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special is a rear-wheel-drive pickup that was initially delivered to Berg Ford Sales Inc. Finished in two-tone blue over blue vinyl and patterned cloth, the truck is powered by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. It is further equipped with a sliding rear window, a spray-in bedliner, a tow ball, a bed-side storage compartment, diamond-plate running boards, power steering, and 16″ steel wheels with hubcaps as well as a cabin heater, crank windows, and an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette stereo. Work since 2019 included changing the transmission pan gasket and shift selector O-ring, installing a Pertronix electronic ignition system, replacing the alternator and various exterior trim components, and servicing the front disc brakes as well as fitting replacement brake lines and hoses.

The interior of the Styleside bed was applied with a LineX spray-on bedliner material in 2022, at which time the front bumper, grille, running boards, tailgate hinges, weatherstripping, and various rubber components were replaced. Additional exterior details include a tow ball, a sliding rear window, a bed-side storage compartment, and Camper Special fender badges. Photos show unfilled holes on both sides of the cowl along with worn trim and rubber on various surfaces.

Steel 16″ wheels wearing bright hubcaps are mounted with Sailun Terramax H/T tires. The truck is equipped with power steering. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and work in 2019 involved repacking the front wheel bearings, changing the rear wheel seals, inspecting the rear drum brakes, and replacing the front brake calipers, pads, and rotors along with various brake lines and hoses.
