1971 GMC K1500 Sierra 4×4

This US-built 1971 GMC K1500 Sierra 4×4 pickup was refurbished in 2011 and work consisted of removing the body from the frame, refinishing both, re-trimming the cabin, and rebuilding the engine and transmission. Power is provided by a 350ci V8 linked with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, a New Process 205 dual-range transfer case, a Dana 44 front differential, and a 12-bolt rear differential. Finished in orange and white over saddle vinyl upholstery, the truck is equipped with woodgrain exterior trim, power steering, power front disc brakes, manually locking front hubs, 15″ Rally wheels, an AM radio, a cabin heater, and a dual exhaust system.

The truck was repainted in orange and white circa 2011 and features a Wideside bed as well as a crosshair grille, a fender-mounted antenna, chrome bumpers, bright trim, quad headlights, woodgrain exterior moldings, and a drop-down tailgate.

The 15″ Rally wheels wear bright trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 235/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the truck is equipped with power steering and manually locking front hubs.

The bench seat was retrimmed in Saddle vinyl upholstery under prior ownership. Interior appointments include an AM radio, floor carpeting, door-mounted armrests, and a cabin heater.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The replacement five-digit odometer shows 4,900 miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
