This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished in 2009, and went on to earn three NCRS Top Flight awards at the Chapter, Regional, and National levels in 2010 and 2014. In 2025, the car was honored with a fourth NCRS Top Flight award as well as a MCACN Concours Gold Certificate. It is finished in yellow over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 327ci L79 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Positraction differential, a black convertible soft top, 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights.
The fiberglass body was finished in Goldwood Yellow from the factory, and it was repainted in 2009. Features include a black convertible soft top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a retractable antenna.
The 15″ steel wheels feature faux-knock-off covers and are mounted with 7.75″ Firestone Super Sports bias-ply tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
