This 1953 Jaguar XK120 SE roadster is believed to have been delivered new through New York in January 1953 before being parked circa 1965. Finished in Pastel Green over Suede Green leather, the car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. It is accompanied by a Fawn soft top with matching side curtains and is further equipped with dual SU carburetors and a Falcon stainless-steel exhaust system.
Exterior details include a removable Fawn soft top with matching side curtains as well as tri-bar headlights, a split windshield, and footwell vents. Scratches are noted on the bodywork behind the passenger compartment.
The 16″ chrome wire wheels are secured by knock-off hubs and mounted with 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The XK120 was factory equipped with an independent front suspension with telescopic-type hydraulic shock absorbers along with semi-elliptical rear leaf springs and Girling hydraulic rear shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums.
The cabin was re-trimmed in the course of the refurbishment. It features bucket seats upholstered in Suede Green leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Additional interior appointments include a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, lap belts, and door map pockets.
